I always wondered what deer think of men in tree stands. It reminds me of a far side joke.

She is not Presidential. In her effort to connect with us normal folk, I find her method of comunication insulting. "Joe six pack", "say it ain't so Joe", "yeah", "us soccer/hockey moms", "dog gone it", "I betcha", and then it occurred to me.......I think this part of her persona is some attempt to capture Abe Lincolns ability to be both wise and endearing to the common working folk. Betty Crocker is a concoctated composite created to sell, to heighten sales. I see Sarah Palin as being the same kind of concoction.
She is like a token female who has no depth skipping across the surface of politics. When called on the fact that she didn't answer a direct question, she manuvered toward "speaking directly to the American people". She smiles inappropriately and I was reminded of all the "tactics and stradegies", it takes to win a beauty pagent.
The thought of her being President is horrifying to me.
I'm not sure I can make a distinction at this point between her and the issues at hand.
I want our troops out of Iraq. I think global warming is undeniable. I am not for domestic drilling at all costs to our environment.
I do agree that her suit was snappy and it was perfectly accessorized once again by her family who joined her on stage.
To this day, I have no idea why there is always a reference to being a team of Mavericks as being a postive characteristic.
That scares the milk and cookies right out of me.
